Deputy Education Minister sponsors 30 students to study at UMaT

The Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has sponsored 30 students from the Bosomtwe Constituency to study at University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).

The students are going to study various engineering courses at UMaT. The Deputy Education Minister paid their fees in full, provided accomodation and a bus to convey them to UMaT at Tarkwa.

The parents of the 30 students showed their excitement as they assembled in front of the Constituency office building.

The Deputy Minister indicated that he aims to ensure that the Bosomtwe Constituency gets 100 engineers within the next ten years.

My vision of ensuring that Bosomtwe gets 100 engineers within the next ten years is on course.

Furthermore, He bid them farewell and encouraged them to study hard.

This morning, I bid farewell to 30 students from Bosomtwe who are on their way to University of Mines and Technonoly (UMaT) at Tarkwa. They are going to pursue various courses in Engineering fully funded by me.
