The move, I believe is to motivate users who have not done their biometric sim registration to do so since most users have not completed their sim registration. The offer is active until July 31st.
Users who do not register their sim cards will have their sim deactivated permanently in the near future. MTN is therefore urging those who haven’t completed their sim registration to visit any authorised agent to do so.
